My name is Shirsten. In addition to being a writer and blogger, I am a coach and certified Emotion Code Practitioner. I have practiced this mode of energy healing for several years.
My goal if we work together is to help you learn how to step out of the way and allow the right - and best - story to pour through you. To help you connect to your emotions, release your heart-wall, and write incredible stories.

What is the Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code is a form of energy healing that releases trapped emotions. Emotions are made of energy - the same building blocks that make up the rest of your body. When we don’t properly process emotions, they become trapped. This can contribute to anything from physical symptoms to severe depression and anxiety.
What does this have to do with writing?
Nothing. And everything.
Writing is my passion. It has helped heal me and has brought me incredible amounts of joy. If it’s not doing the same for you, or if you find yourself getting stuck or feeling doubt or anxiety (or any other negative emotions consistently), the Emotion Code may help.
In addition, as writers, our job is to access our emotions. When we do so, we can connect more deeply with ourselves, our stories, and ultimately with the readers who pick up our work. Emotions are what make stories great. If you’re struggling to access your emotions, the Emotion Code may help.
How do I know if the Emotion Code is right?
If you’re here and intrigued, if you feel somewhere inside of you that this can help, then it’s right. There is no pressure. I have seen this work create miracles in my life and the lives of others I have worked on over the years, and I feel a responsibility to offer it to more people who may benefit from its healing.
I use the Emotion Code to work on:
Physical pain (this is the most frequent work I do on myself these days. Anytime I have unexpected (meaning I didn’t fall and break my arm - that pain is expected) physical pain, I release trapped emotions contributing to it)
Emotional pain (depression, anxiety, confusion, self-doubt, grief, anger, difficulty adjusting, etc.)
How does it work?

When you do, I’ll reach out to you to get more information and to schedule a 30-60 minute consultation, which will be conducted over Zoom.
If we decide we’re a good fit for each other - hooray! We will schedule a weekly meeting (also via Zoom) where I’ll coach you on your brain.
(Coaching is the BEST way to gain awareness around who you are, the story that’s inside of you, and how to get out of the way so that it can flow out of you and onto the paper. It’s also the best way to achieve your goals and create incredible results.)
At the end of each session, if you’d like, I will release trapped emotions using the Emotion Code.
Anything else?
Releasing trapped emotions is a form of detoxifying your body. As such, symptoms are to be expected for 1-4 days following the release. The most common symptoms are fatigue, headaches, dizziness, moodiness, and strange dreams (I’ve experienced all of them!).
After I’ve released the emotions, be sure to drink plenty of water and get rest.
