Get Started by Joining the Waitlist

I believe there are 3 simple steps to mastering your craft:

  1. Learn the fundamentals of what a story is (story theory, patterns, processes, and structure)

  2. Complete a full-length novel

  3. Get outside feedback and apply it to your work

The Story magic Mastermind includes 4 months of weekly critique circles. Each writer who signs up will have a chance to read pages once a month and get focused feedback, as well as the opportunity to learn from the work of others.

Make huge leaps of growth in your craft in a small amount of time.

Because I want to allow adequate time and space for each writer, there will only be 4 spots available. This way all 4 writers will have a full hour each month dedicated to their work.

BUT, you don’t only learn from getting your work critiqued, you can improve just as much from critiquing the work of others.

Because this is such a small critique circle, there will be firm expectations for those who join:

  1. You must have a minimum of 2,000 words (and a maximum of 3,000) prepared each month for your spotlight.

  2. You must be willing to show up every week. The critique circle will be strongest if everyone is there on time, ready to participate in each weekly meeting.

  3. You must be kind. There will be a strict set of guidelines to follow when critiquing. We are here to encourage and uplift one another, this means a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind.

This mastermind is designed to help you improve your craft, fast. However, it will also be helpful for keeping you accountable and supporting you in finishing a novel.
