First Plot Point Introduction

The First Plot Point signifies the point in which your protagonist irrevocably enters the main conflict.

 

Note: If you're following the Save the Cat! Beat Sheet, the First Plot Point is your Break Into Two.

Think about Katniss entering the arena (more on this in examples!).

In the First Plot Point, the hero enters the Story World and must make a decision. The story pivots. It changes. And things get juicy.
