In case you landed on this page first - welcome! My name is Shirsten. In addition to being a writer and teacher, I am a certified Emotion Code Practitioner. I have practiced this mode of energy healing for several years, and I still use it consistently on myself, my family, and my friends. Recently, I felt called to offer it to my fellow writers.

What is the Emotion Code?

The Emotion Code is a form of energy healing that releases trapped emotions. Emotions are made of energy - the same building blocks that make up the rest of your body. When we don’t properly process emotions, they become trapped. This can contribute to anything from physical symptoms to severe depression and anxiety.

What does this have to do with writing?

Nothing. And everything. Writing is my passion. It has helped heal me and has brought me incredible amounts of joy. If it’s not doing the same for you, or if you find yourself getting stuck or feeling doubt or anxiety (or any other negative emotions consistently), the Emotion Code may help.

In addition, as writers, our job is to access our emotions. When we do so, we can connect more deeply with ourselves, our stories, and ultimately with the readers who pick up our work. If you’re struggling to access your emotions, the Emotion Code may help.

How do I know if the Emotion Code is right?

If you’re here and intrigued, if you feel somewhere inside of you that this can help, then it’s right. There is no pressure. I no longer practice Emotion Code healing full-time, but I have seen it work miracles in my life and the lives of others I have worked on over the years, and I feel a responsibility to offer it to more people who may benefit from its healing.

I use the Emotion Code to work on:

Physical pain. This is the most frequent work I do on myself these days. Anytime I have unexpected (meaning I didn’t fall and break my arm - that pain is expected) physical pain, I release trapped emotions contributing to it.

Emotional pain (depression, anxiety, confusion, self-doubt, grief, etc.)

How does it work?

If you would like me to release trapped emotions from you, you can simply purchase a one-time text session below. In the past, I conducted my sessions over calls or in person. However, the Emotion Code is a form of energy healing that works by proxy (meaning I release the emotions on myself for you). Now I only offer Emotion Code work via text.

When you purchase, I’ll reach out to you to get more information about what specifically you’d like me to work on. This information can be as vague as you’d like (no need to tell me anything more than you’re comfortable with).

Anything else?

Releasing trapped emotions is a form of detoxifying your body. As such, symptoms are to be expected for 1-4 days following the release. The most common symptoms are fatigue, headaches, dizziness, moodiness, and strange dreams (I’ve experienced all of them!).

After I’ve released the emotions, be sure to drink plenty of water and get rest.
